A Night 2 Remember was our first major event which celebrated the one year anniversary of the creation of “We Love Bury St Edmunds!” If you were there, I know you had a good time, because so many of you have dug me out and told me.
The planning went on for months, the promotion of the show was also a big operational affair, and we had the Brotherhood of Man perform for us too. Meringue kisses on the tables for “Save All Your Kisses For Me”, Fruitellas, Adnams Prosessco and Rosehip & Rhubarb Cordial. The fabulous prizes including the first edition of each of the Joshua Rosewarne prints, a flight on a helicopter, a flight on a two seater plane, Bobble Hats… Nick Lowe and Jacen Bruce performing in the reception area. John Hughes taking amazing photographs to capture that evening, Kristin Kapelli, the Dublin Diva, her first time in Bury St Edmunds and absorbing everything she saw.. Loving it will us, and of course Kevan and Robert Collins, of Punch Films UK who produced this wonderful video.
