Great to see Mark Ewin and the gang here on eXplore Bury St Edmunds... Always very friendly and approachable, and yet another of those independent businesses in St Johns Street!
Totally love Lilys Malaysian cooking...being a natural for this kind of food, its great to find some real authentic Malay cooking in Bury St Edmunds!
Well, I am supposed to be on a carb-free diet at the moment, and probably for a long time, but sorry, there was no way I was going to go home without a couple of Caseys Cheese Scones... Oh My Word, they are AWESOME and HUGE... Come back to Bury St Edmunds very soon!!
Lily does an amazing job every dish I get. The food is hot, fresh, and delicious everytime. I had to move away and one thing I truly miss in Bury is Lilys food! She also has very high standards in cleanliness, fresh ingredients, and authentic Malay cooking.
Bought few jewellery from Tony before. Good quality, beautiful design and helpful with advice such as jewellery maintenance so they always looks fresh and pretty.
Very disappointed service from the shop today when in the shop today to by a energy drink they send you have to be 18 years old on google it send you can by when you are 16 years old Very rude man in the shop Very rude staff Won’t be coming back Very disappointed Very rude man in the shop. Members are reminded that there are currently no age restrictions on the sale of any caffeine containing foods and beverages, including energy drinks. Under 16 year olds do not legally need to provide an ID to buy an energy drink, although there is an industry agreement to not promote to that age group. Wow, this is such an awesome addition to the town centre. A big independent store, recycling, preloved items which will keep you coming back again and again to see whats new!

I absolutely love this place and what it stands for. Being able to shop guilt free. They have so much stock. Can’t wait for my next visit! The girls are also lovely which is a bonus
I love food, anyone who knows will know that, but I always TRY to eat as healthily as possible. Having just had Jenny's vegan Chilli, I can say with certainty that healthy does not have to be boring. Made from a lovely combination of spices and veg and beans, the Chilli has a great mixture of textures and flavours. Not only that, its very filling too. I now feel smug because my appetite is sated with the wonderful tastes and I am also wearing a halo :)
Tea rooms are not just for the elderly, as you will discover the wonderful flavour of the cheese scones made on the premises at Procopios Pantry in Bury St Edmunds. They have a wicked little kick of chilli in there which makes your taste buds wake up, and say... hello, I want more! The sausage rolls are awesome too... so big!!
Advice is not to stay here, there are better places where parking is free, and there is not the possibility that you will be charged to parking. Some Reviews from Trustpilot Poor service, food was awful, barely cooked and over cooked! unexpected £25 fee on check in! Rooms were dated and not very clean! We had a few family members staying here and we all said the same, will not be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend! We stayed on night and we're charged an extra 25 pounds fee which wasn't indicated until check-in. Still waiting for the refund I was promised by the hotel receptionist on check out. Hotel ignores. my emails,then I send the receipt as proof and they want bank statement as well,no way I'm sending this . Never been charged a fee at other hotels. Was told room and breakfast would be 81 pounds but got charged 107 pounds. Very poor customer service, when asked to speak to manager she was too busy! Hotel restaurant closed to guest as they had functions on! No room service either. Seems they don’t care about the individual guests. Room had dripping cistern and TV didn’t work Absolutely outraged!!!! Free parking was part of the deal for a 4 night stay in October 2021. I have just received notification of a fine of £100 for a 19 minute parking slot on the 3rd day of my stay!!!!!! Was the hotel manager extremely apologetic and reassuring when I phoned her???? Did she offer to immediately deal with the FALSE allegation of illegal parking??? Absolutely NOT. I have had to lodge my own appeal, been charged by the hire car company for having to deal with the fine demand and am still waiting for a response to my email to the hotel manager of an hour ago. If you’re thinking of staying here, I urge you not to!!!!!!! Any response Madam Manager???? Cutting a long story short we had multiple rooms booked, I decided to get picked up even though I had a room booked. The car park is a separate company and because the car was there longer than 10 mins we were fined £100!! The hotel couldn’t care less I’m absolutely disgusted and will never book there again!!
