We, Ruth and Paul, have been running a B&B here at Church Farm for over 20 years. The farm has been in the family as a fruit farm since the early ’50s when Paul’s grandfather bought it and grew it into the thriving farm it is now.

Our two daughters have grown up here and over the years we have had plenty of guests coming & going. We also live with three dogs, a gang of chickens and a Shetland pony.

Paul runs the 200-acre farm on which we grow strawberries, raspberries, apples & pears. Our orchards are beautiful and we have benches here and there so you can stop on your walks and enjoy them. Our apple and pear trees are particularly stunning when in blossom. Artists are very welcome to stay and spend their days out on the farm sketching wildlife and farm life. We have a gorgeously illustrated map of our farm to guide you around as you explore. Click here to see our illustrated farm!

We also grow Christmas trees and have a beautiful Suffolk barn where we sell them from in December. We decorate the barn and alongside the trees, we sell lovely decorations and fresh coffee to keep you warm and cosy while you pick your tree and choose your decorations.

Church Farm is conveniently situated for food during the day if you choose to stay close, The Manger pub is pretty much next door (the church is in between) and provides excellent lunches and evening meals.

We also have lots of ideas for outings and places to eat and visit, in various directions. Click here for our suggestions. Our two rooms are self-contained with their own entrances. Ruth went to art & design college many years ago and made wedding dresses before having a family, settling into farm life and running the B&B, so has a very keen interest in design and interiors. It’s the small details that are so important and she has paid a lot of attention to them in the rooms.

We like to make our guests feel welcome and at home, providing lovely toiletries and linens, produce fresh from the farm or locally sourced for breakfast, and are committed to you having the most fabulous break here.

We look forward to welcoming you to Church Farm
