Busy Bee have been on Newmarket’s High Street for the last 24 years. We specialise in handmade leather shoes, made exclusively for our shop. Also stocking fine leather goods such as luggage, polo belts and our popular Busy Bee Riding Boots.
With our many years of leather knowledge we also repair shoes and leather items, we offer this throughout the UK with our online repair website: www.pickupmyrepair.co.uk where we can now collect your repair from you and return once complete.
A lot of customers say our shop is similar to an ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ not only have we got plenty of stock to browse through we have lots of history to look at, a mini museum as such. With Newmarket being famous for its Horse Racing Days, Nights and Horse Racing Studs we have lots of racing memorabilia.
To name a few; Henry Cecil has given us a few framed photos and has hand drawn a horse at the finishing post. We have Frankie Dettori’s racing boots that won him 10 group one winners, signed by Frankie and patched by our leather repair team, they soon became ‘lucky’ boots. Lester Piggot’s saddle that was caught in the stalls & lots lots more.
