Established on Station Hill in 1971 we have now relocated to Unit 13 Bunting Road, Moreton Hall Industrial Estate, Bury St Edmunds IP32 7BX (just around the corner from Screwfix).
Tyres – for wheelbarrows to sports cars and vans, and everything in between!
We stock a huge range of tyres, from budgets to premium brands, but if we don’t have it on the shelf we can usually order it in for fitting the next day at the latest.
Batteries – Trouble starting the car? Battery nearing the end of its life?
Give us a call for advice and prices for the right battery for your car, which we can supply and fit.
We also offer –
Wheel alignment (tracking) and puncture repairs while you wait.
Our Staff
Ray, the boss, has been with Bury Tyre Centre since he left school in 1980! He is still very hands-on and can often be found busy in the workshop or in the office using his 30 plus years of experience to help customers decide on the right tyre for their vehicle.
Gary, Steve and Robin are our experienced tyre fitting team and Cathy, the boss’s wife, works in the office.

Our History and The Future
Bury Tyre Centre was started on Station Hill in November 1971. The white timber clad curving Victorian industrial building was built by Boby Brothers Ltd and has been our characterful home for the last 44 years. Admittedly it was slightly cramped, and the dust and dirt leeched out of the walls, but we loved that old shed!2016 has seen a lot of changes, both for us, and the other businesses on Station Hill as redevelopment plans take hold. But our new premises on Bunting Road now offer us space, a comfortable clean waiting area and an opportunity for expansion in the future.
