We are a traditional family-run business trading in Bury St Edmunds for over 180 years.

With 6 generations of know-how starting with James, Samuel, Charles, Jack and now Brian and Andrew.

The business was originally a boot making shop but changed into shoe repairs after the war offering top quality service and repairs.

Over the years the business has moved on to keep up with modern times.

We still offer top quality shoe repairs on all types of shoes along with fully computerized and laser engraving service on trophies, sign, glass and Gifts, Key Cutting, Sharpening service on garden shears, knives and scissors, leather bag repairs and zip replacements.

We have been in our current premises for over 57 years. our aim is to offer a top-quality service with top quality materials to give the best quality service to our customers

Currys is a family run business. Staff are always helpful and always make sure the service is top quality. A must for shoe repairs,trophies or that special present. Engraving is always spot on and nothing is ever to much trouble. Andrew and team keep up the wonderful service.
