We are an independent company operating from Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket.
We began trading in 2007, and originally opened our showroom in The Traverse, but in January 2009 we moved to larger, brighter premises on the Northgate Street roundabout, which also includes plenty of free parking.
In April 2013 we opened a new showroom in Newmarket, on the clock tower corner.
We pride ourselves on our excellent customer care and reliable after-sales service, plus the exceptional quality and huge choice of blinds.
The business is run by Andrew Hartwell, who has over 20 years’ experience of the blind, awning and curtain trade.
Window dressing can make a world of difference to a room and many people find blinds an effective way of bringing a new look and new life to their home. With the extra space in the Northgate showroom, The Hartwell Blind Company now manufactures its own vertical and roller blinds on the premises, and this is being well received by customers as it speeds up the delivery time.
New ranges are continually arriving at the showroom, so customers can always be assured of plenty of choices, in colour and design.
We take pride in offering a one-to-one service to each customer to ensure they make the best possible choice for their window dressings.
The Hartwell Blind Company’s service is not restricted to Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and the surrounding area – we can also cover the whole of East Anglia in both the commercial and domestic market.
In the showrooms, we display the complete range of blinds and curtains to give customers new ideas for their homes and there are countless books of samples to browse through.
