Since 2005 when the company was established, Moore & Stone Carpentry & Building Ltd has earned a strong reputation in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, Cambridge and elsewhere in East Anglia both for its construction of new buildings and renovation of historic and listed buildings.
The way we work ensures there are no nasty surprises for you.
We take care of the process so you know what is going on and can feel confident in us. We take pride over the quality and the finishing – when your building is complete, our work that is what you are left with.
Before we start your project we will:
Talk to you about the works and ensure you know what will happen and when
Give you a written explanation of the project and a full breakdown of the fees, Not ask you to pay a deposit or any fees upfront
While we are working for you we will:
Respect you and your property
Cause you as little disruption as possible
Show up when we say we will, arriving in company vehicles and company workwear
Discuss the project with you and let you know the progress on a regular basis
Answer any questions you may have
Accept and discuss any request for changes to the agreed works
Invoice throughout the project only for materials used and hours worked (usually every two weeks)
When we have finished we will:
Walk around with you and ask you to confirm you are satisfied
Ask you to pay the final instalment of your bill only when you have approved our work
Come back at any time if you notice anything wrong. Materials will be covered by the manufacturer’s guarantees and may be replaced accordingly, any genuine fault with our workmanship will be rectified free of charge. We can offer you this workmanship guarantee because our clients rarely find fault with our work
