Cally James is a person who loves making things. She learned from her dad when she was little. After working with food, she found her true love: pottery. She started a company called Hippy Hut Pottery Ltd in Lawshall, close to Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.
Learning Pottery
Cally learned pottery from a lady in her home studio. She enjoyed it a lot. After studying more, she decided to start her own pottery company.
The Hippy Hut
The company is named after a special summer house in Cally’s garden. Her daughters call it the “Hippy Hut.” This is where people eat lunch when they go to her workshops.

Cally is a potter in Bury St Edmunds. She makes pottery that people can use every day. She also teaches lessons, hosts workshops, parties, and events for businesses.
