Each one holds a plan,
to see as many as they can.

hidden behind flint walls,
some providing tea and cake,
where you can sit and contemplate.
About these little hidden gems,
talk to the gardeners, make new friends.
We’ve walked these streets before,
not knowing what’s behind that door,
Now it’s open, walk inside,
to see the gardener’s great pride.
Lovely borders and beds too,
delight you’re senses, smell and view.
All the gardener’s volunteer,
to open their gardens year on year.
This is the thirtieth anniversary year,
supporting St Nicholas Hospice Care.
