I have been a professional photographer for just over a year, however, I have spent 40 years using my cameras.
Over the last 9 of those years, I have specialised in documentary photography, which has transformed my work.
Documentary photography is often known as reportage or candid photography.
I had shot some traditional weddings in the old film days, and to be honest, I didn't enjoy the experience at all.
Since I've discovered candid photography however, I've fell in love with the genre...shooting a couple's most important day, is now my life's work.
It is a wonderful experience for me to capture your most precious moments as they happen, with no awkward posing or cheesy grins.
I also photograph families in the same way...a wonderful family keepsake can be yours to treasure for years to come.
