Fresh Food for Now Company provides daily deliveries of fresh products to the UK food to go market.

Our mission is to make a difference at food to go fixture, every day. We work closely with all our customers, large and small, providing a personal to touch to help develop their offer and execute it in-store to maximise sales.

Our Business

Launched in early 2019, Fresh Food for Now Company specialises in delivering short shelf-life products for the food-to-go market. With 16 regional sales offices and a fleet of chilled distribution vehicles, we deliver a combination of sandwiches, savoury pastries and snacking products across the UK. We proudly supply a number of Samworth Brothers’ brands including Ginsters, Honest Crust, Sci-Mx and Soreen. We deliver daily to motorway services, forecourts, hospitals, student unions, Budgens and Londis amongst other convenience locations.

Our People

We have just over 200 employees and a fleet of approximately 150 vehicles providing daily deliveries to our customers, as well as a number of supporting roles including commercial, marketing, personnel, finance and operations. Our team is spread across the UK working between our regional sales offices and Leicester base.

Community and Environment

We are proud to have been first to market with plastic free, 100% recyclable sandwich skillets and wrap boxes with our brand Honest Crust. Working closely with sister businesses, we are progressing towards moving our entire range to fully recyclable packaging, removing as much plastic as possible. Honest Crust is partnered with the charity FareShare, who redistribute surplus food from the food industry to vulnerable people across the UK. We have committed to donating the equivalent of 200,000 meals within our first year, with the intention to reach 1 million over three years.
