We are a historic townhouse inn bursting with character, that sits proudly in the centre of Bury St Edmunds. We have a great beer garden and al fresco dining area to enjoy on those warm sunshine days.

We serve traditional, delicious pub menu with a contemporary twist. Depending on how hungry you are you can choose from a range of sandwiches, burgers or mains including pub favourites plus grazing and sharing plates for great casual dining. The Kings Arms is a perfect spot for a working lunch during the week or a lazy lunch at weekends, we are close to all the main shops and welcome weary shoppers or those wishing to ‘rest’ while others shop! We are proud of the provenance of our food and source our ingredients from local suppliers and if you have a food allergy or intolerance please let us know and we will do our best to help.

Choose from a selection of 5 cask ales, craft beers both bottled and draft, lager and cider on tap and also a selection of more unusual bottled ciders and craft beers. We have a great selection of wines and spirits too with over 12 different gins and 15 rums served with a range of fever tree tonics and Madagascan cola. We have an extensive whisky bar too so there is something for everyone to choose from.
